PHILOSOPHY

Kelly’s 25 years of teaching and coaching lends her to be focused on what her students can personally gain, and what steps they need to take to meet each goal. Playing since she was five, and continuing at Colorado State University with collegiate golf, she pursued her love of golf with a deep understanding and background in physical fitness as well as completing her degree as an English major. Kelly shares strengthening both physically and mentally to become a better golfer. Her lessons are student centered and cater to the daily/weekly goal of her students providing drills and feedback. She is well known in the community for her unrelenting passion for junior golf through coaching at both the middle and high school levels, and mentoring hundreds of young ladies through the LPGA-USGA Girls Golf of Colorado Springs as both the founder and director to college D1-D3 collegiate golf.

Although Kelly teaches men and women, boys and girls; she is proud of her many programs that promote girls and women in golf such as the LPGA- USGA GIRLS GOLF Program of Colorado Springs running 22 years as both founder and director. Assisting with the USGA Linkers program for over fifteen years, and continually offering women one-three hour clinics on Saturdays focused on different aspects of the game. Recently Wednesday evenings of Women, Wine and Wedges has offered women all over the City of Colorado Springs the opportunity to improve their short game with a 45 min lesson, play on the Par 3 and a chance to socialize after. New 2018 season, Kelly is offering Tuesday Twilight Tees for intermediate and advanced players to offer swing and course management skills.

As a student, you can chose from a single lesson or move into a series of 3 or 5 lessons depending on the time you have to develop your skills. She is flexible with days and times, and can accommodate small groups as well as large.
